Software licenses
Windows
Windows update licenses are available free of charge for university employees' computers. Unlike popular belief, the Windows operating system is not free; you need to purchase OEM Windows for your computers if you want to use them with the Windows operating system! The OEM Windows operating system can be updated to any version of Windows.
MS Office
Microsoft Office 365 subscription is available free of charge to university staff and students. Log in to office.com with your tr.pte.hu Microsoft account and install the application.
CorelDraw
The CorelDraw software package is available free of charge to university staff and students. Visit the office E/217 in person, where we will install CorelDraw for you after you fill out a registration form.
SPSS
SPSS licenses are available to lecturers. Students can only obtain a license key with lecturer approval, so students should ask their lecturer to request the license. For license requests and further information, please contact our colleague Balázs Szőcs.
MATLAB
Employees and students can request a MATLAB license at mathworks.com using any university (faculty or central) email address.
