Incoming Students

We request all incoming Erasmus+ exchange students to be nominated to us by their faculty or institutional coordinators before the deadline: 1st November for spring intake and 30th April for the fall intake of every year.

Nominations should be sent to us by filling the application form available at the given link:

Erasmus Nomination Form

Obligations For Students Considering Exchange Studies Under Erasmus+

Before the Study Period:

After the nomination process, students are sent an application email which consists of the online application form for the Erasmus+ study mobility. Students need to fill this application form before the deadline so that their place can be secured.

It is essential after the nomination to get in touch with the Faculty Coordinator by emailing erasmus so that appropriate details about your chosen program and list of available courses can be sent to you. You can also access the comprehensive student guide for the current academic year which includes the programs and their respective courses available for exchange students.

Please see 22/23 Study Guide for Incoming Students-Faculty of Sciences.

It is necessary for a student to inquire about pre-requisites for taking up a course at our faculty. Usually, our practice-based courses need theoretical course completion so it is advised to confirm this with the Faculty Coordinator, if you can take a practice course without theoretical course completion at our Faculty. Once you have found the courses which you intend on taking, you can conclude your “Before the Mobility” part of the learning agreement and send the signed version to erasmus for approval. We can also access learning agreements in the online SOP system so make sure to check this with your home university if they are using the online format for learning agreement processing.

After this, your confirmation of acceptance will be issued and you can then apply for a student accommodation/ dormitory. More information about preparing your journey to Pécs can be found in the Tips and Tricks for Newcomers.

Updated information about dates for orientations and study periods are sent before the arrival so that travel can be arranged accordingly.

During the Mobility:

After your arrival, you will be given practical information in the Central Orientation and Faculty Orientation separately. It is obligatory to attend these so you can meet with other members of the Erasmus Student Network who are engaged in helping the students to adapt to the new environment. You are also requested to bring the arrival certificate document from your home university so that the Faculty Coordinator can sign it and then return it back to your home university, validating your arrival.

You can document changes in your learning agreement in the “During the Mobility” part in case you make any modifications in your taken subjects (Subject deletion, subject substitution etc.) due to some reason. However please always get the changes signed and approved by the three parties as soon as they are made.

After the Mobility:

The faculty coordinator will issue the Transcript of Record (ToR) and Completion Certificate/Validation Certificate and send it to your home university so that your progress abroad can be documented.

Do not forget to send the completion certificate template issued by your home university before the mobility ends to the faculty coordinator at erasmus.
