Leaf antioxidant – pro-oxidant studies:
Acclimation to UV-B (280-315 nm) radiation in controlled environment and filed studies. UV-inducible changes in the antioxidant – pro-oxidant balance. In collaboration with: Örebro University (SE), Maynooth University (IE), University College Cork (IE).
Gas exchange performance and acclimation of the regrowth:
Functional ecological response of woody saplings (e.g. beech, hornbeam, oak, ash, other invasive species) are studied related with forest regeneration. Field (instantaneous) and climate controlled (steady-state) measurements are designed by the main abiotic factors (carbon-dioxide, light, temperature, humidity). TÁMOP-4.2.2.A-11/1/KONV-2012-0004.
