Our first Open Day for International Students was held on 22nd February, 2018.
The event was organized by the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Sciences together, mostly for students who are doing their preparatory year right now in Pécs. Among all the institutes and study programs, the Institute of Geography and Earth Sciences must be highlighted who was well prepared for the event. An augmented reality sandbox was set up which is a sandbox equipped with a Kinect 3D camera and a monitor to project a real-time coloured topographic map with contour lines onto the sand surface and a 3D hologram projector was also set up to check out the changing phase the Moon. Their equipped stands were of great interest.
